thank you. I have two granddaughters and three grandsons, ages 9-19 this year. Surprising how fast they’ve grown! When I look at the world they live in, part of me wants to despair. But the other part remembers that they are strong individuals who aren’t hiding their heads in the sand. I hope they will make this world a far better place.

Dear Kayelle. I didn’t realize you had a granddaughter too. Aren’t they an amazing gift? Not just to us, but to the world and the future. Their consciousness is raised higher than I could ever have imagined mine to be at their age. I am proud of all of them. They care, and that is at the heart, literally, of all good possibilities for our planet and our humanity. Like you, they give me hope. Perhaps, it’s not fair to expect of them, but they ARE our hope. Long may they keep working toward making this world what it needs to be. Blessings. Alice (and please congratulate your granddaughter for me).

My granddaughter just graduated high school and wants to study meteorology. Her goal is to know how to warn people in dangerous weather and save lives. It’s good to see the younger generation so compassionate. It gives me hope.
